Initial stakeholder interviews with Sales VPs, Directors, HR and sample participants to establish key needs and tailor examples. Participant pre-work included a short video from Valmet Head of Sales explaining the transformation and introducing the programme. Course delivered entirely virtually using virtual workshops and online learning, covering how to:
- Communicate effectively when physically distant from your colleagues – including running brilliant virtual meetings.
- Achieve your goals without traditional authority; get things done and manage trade-offs in complex and uncertain environments.
- Lead, motivate and inspire a virtual, matrixed team – building
trust and good working relationships in this virtual world.
Over 200 sales managers from e.g. Japan, India, Finland, US have taken part so far, with programs fully booked and a full schedule in place for 2018 for another 300 sales managers.
