Calling on the work of Robert Sutton, a professor of management science and engineering at Stanford University and the author of Good Boss, Bad Boss, and Adam Grant, an associate professor at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and co-author of The Hidden Advantages of Quiet Bosses, Gallo surmises that the three key issues of having multiple bosses are overload, conflicting messages and priorities and goes on to suggest some solutions.
