And the last post about the video competition

In this last post about the video competition entries, we’d like to say a special thank you to several people.

The first is Debbie Davies, a London-based film-maker who caught the creative bug with this competition, creating no less than three videos for the competition: Working USA, an Englishman’s perspective on the USA; Built in London, a look at how everything know has a global perspective; and Working Relationships, India, about her own experiences of working with the people there.

The second is Rhys, an eleven year old who submitted the first video and allowed us to extend the deadline on the competition. His entry is about how global working affects the profession he dreams of joining one day as a Formula One Racing mechanic.

There’s still time to vote for them by going to their pages and voting by sharing the entry.

And last but not least, a big thank you to everyone who has voted, for the people who regularly receive this blog and haven’t complained about being deluged with the video entries, and to all of the people who have technically and creatively offered support. You know who you are!

Voting continues until midnight GMT tonight, when the top 20 list will be submitted to the judges for a final decision. There will be no more posts about the competition until we have word from the judges, so thanks to readers for their forebearance. Normal service will resume as soon as possible!
