In support of Schneider Electric’s “Digitize for Customers” program, efficiency & simplicity initiatives we were challenged to improve online meetings.
As a global specialist in energy management and automation with operations in more than 100 countries, Schneider Electric (SE) offers integrated energy solutions across multiple market segments. This requires effective matrix working and since 2010, Global Integration have run hundreds of programmes across the world in partnership with SE covering ‘Leading across our Schneider Electric Matrix’; ‘Engaging and Collaborating in a Matrix’ and more recently, ‘Compelling Virtual Facilitation’. The latter is in response to SE’s current drive to ‘digitize for our customers, for efficiency and simplicity’.
Solution: compelling virtual facilitation
To take one example of the solutions we’ve delivered together, ‘Compelling Virtual Facilitation’ upskills subject matter experts who are required to brief sales people virtually on new products and solutions before large-scale exhibitions and offer launches; plus anyone else who wants to finesse their virtual delivery skills (leaders, internal trainers, HR). Using SE’s chosen online meetings platform, the course involves pre-work; 2 x 2.5hr interactive virtual workshops for 8-12 participants; and virtual follow-up in groups of 4 where participants deliver and receive feedback. So far it has been delivered to hundreds of people all over the world to rave reviews.
