Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a third party tool created by Google to track visitors to the website, and helps us understand how the website is being used, and to identify where we need to improve user experience. A number of cookies are used by Google to track visitors across the website, and repeat visits. No sensitive data is stored in the cookie. The cookie is stored in persistent storage on the visitor’s machine and expires after 24 months.

AddThis

AddThis is a third party tool created by AddThis that allows us to measures social activity on the site (how they interact with the Social Media Buttons). This helps us understand how the website is being used and let’s us know if we need to improve our ‘sharability’. It can be used for behavioural advertising purposes, but we don’t carry advertising on this site. The cookie is stored in persistent storage on the visitor’s machine and expires after 12 months. (It may be useful for you to know that AddThis provides the facility for visitors to opt out of their ‘Targeted Advertising’ on the internet.)

Amazon.co.uk

A ‘session cookie’ is used on this website to support the Shop and integration with the Amazon.co.uk shopping channel. This cookie is session based and expires when the user closes their browser, or after 20 minutes of inactivity on the site. This cookie is critical for the running of the site. If disabled, a number of features would cease to function.

Twitter

A cookie is used on the website to support the Twitter social button and to collect information on usage, such as IP address, browser type, referring web page, pages visited and interactions with the social button. The cookie is stored in persistent storage on the visitor’s machine and expires after 24 months.

YouTube

A cookie is used to support the You Tube embedded videos that are used on the website. It is used to store data about a user’s computer and the user to improve the site experience. The cookie is stored in persistent storage on the visitor’s machine and expires after 10 years

Mailing Lists and signups for white papers and webinars

As part of the registration process for our monthly e-newsletter, white papers and webinars we collect personal information. We use that information to tell you about what you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right, for marketing purposes, and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

We use third-party providers, MailChimp and Salesforce, to deliver our newsletters.

We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter and emails. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing our data protection lead Laura Hall.

Use of information collected

The Company uses Data about Global Integration Customers to perform the services requested. For example, if you fill out a “Contact us” Web form, the Company will use the information provided to contact you about your interest in the Services.

The company may also use Data about Global Integration Customers and Attendees for marketing purposes. For example, the Company may use information you provide to contact you to further discuss your interests in the Services and to send you information regarding the Company.

Global Integration may also receive information from online resources. This helps us to update, expand and analyse our records, identify new customers, and tailor our marketing collateral.

International transfer of information collected

The company primarily stores data about Global Integration Customers. To facilitate our global operations, the Company may transfer and access such information around the world, including from other countries in which the Company has operations. Correcting and updating your information

Global Integration may retain your information for a period of time consistent with the original purpose of collection. You may request to review, correct, delete or otherwise modify any of the personal information that you have previously provided to us.

Requests to access, change, or delete your information will be addressed within a reasonable timeframe.
