Earning votes
Now you have your video uploaded, you are ready to persuade people to vote for you. The more votes your video get the more likely it is to be in the top 20 – and the closer you are to winning the cash!
Some ideas include:
- Use your social spaces to share and ask for votes – and to pass it on: share everywhere from Facebook, Hyves, Orkut, Twitter, LinkedIn or even MySpace to let people see and vote for your video. Don’t be afraid to repeat in case people don’t see it. Voting is through the Global Working pages on the Global Integration website, so ‘likes’, views, and shares are great, and likely to earn you more visibility and votes – but it’s the votes on the pages that count!
- Email friends and colleagues with details of your entry. Don’t be afraid to ask them to pass it on.
- Ask your workplace or college to include details of your entry on a blog post, in a newsletter, on the intranet.
- Friends or colleagues who blog? Why not ask them to include it too.
