In this interview I share some tips, tricks, stories and experiences of working in and managing remote and global teams in large multinational companies. I have thoroughly enjoyed the past 11 years in which I have been managing remote and global teams and was pleased to have somewhere to share the knowledge I have gained. I dedicate this video to all the wonderful people I have worked with across the globe during these years!

In general it´s more a Question how to use Tools to manage virtual teams. with other words a Line Manager needs some dedicated Skills to be succesful regardless doing it in face to face or in remote Practice.

Although Modern technology makes it easier to stay in touch with remote locations, it demands fast reactions and great flexibility from people at the centre of the network. Rasma clearly demonstrates how essential it is to stay fit and alert!

Good video and some interesting tips — I liked the practical examples you shared. Nice also to hear the comments from others. My only objection would be to the background music, which I found distracting and too much like an ‘infomercial’.
Thank you for all your feedback and encouragement. I take onboard the comments to further explore and explain the tools which support remote working. These indeed deserve their own story. In this video I was focussing more on the “human” elements required to manage and work in remote and global teams. Thanks for your votes!
