About the Competition
Win $15,000, £10,000, or €12,000
The Global Working video competition is easy to enter. It’s FREE, no catches, and open to students and business people alike, as individuals or groups, giving the opportunity to win £10,000, $15,000 or €12,000 (dependent upon your region) for you, your organization or the charity of your choice – simply by uploading your video on the subject of global working.
Global working is becoming standard in workplaces. There are few businesses that don’t sell or buy from another country or culture. With this comes a range of joys and challenges which we hope videos submitted to this competition will examine.
Whether you look at the influence of technology and the way in which it can be used to overcome problems, analyse social media and its influence on the way that global teams work, whether you simply share experiences on the best ways that you’ve found of working in global teams, managing cultural difference or overseas suppliers, or even share funny moments….. as long as your video and ideas fit the theme of ‘global working’, we’d love to see and share it.
What’s being judged?
A whole range of themes are possible. If you’d like some ideas, feel free to check out the Global Integration YouTube channel and podcasts where we examine global leadership, virtual teams, working across cultures, matrix management and more. (There is more information around some of these topics accessible from the Global Integration website.) We are looking for your own unique ideas and concepts so don’t feel constrained by these ideas.
Although presentation is an important part of communication, it’s the thought that counts for the contest. Entries don’t need to be beautifully produced – it’s the idea behind them that will be judged.
