Phil’s background in Engineering has enabled him to seamlessly marry the merits of Global Integration’s toolkit of leadership and management development skills into both Lean and Six Sigma work initiatives.
This has been of significant benefit in the UK Government-supported training Sharing in Growth. Sharing in Growth UK was set up in 2013 and is set to deliver a £250M programme of intensive supplier development over four years to 64 UK suppliers. The main funding support for this ambitious and innovative programme has come from the Regional Growth Fund and industry.
In his spare time, Phil enjoys supporting his local rugby club (Burton Rugby Football Club), playing guitar and running (slowly), including two half marathons each year.
Phil speaks Italian (his mother is Italian), works hard to communicate in French and German, and holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
With a strong background in line management, Phil’s experience includes production management in the brewing and food industries, as well as business development and new product introduction to southern European markets for an office equipment manufacturer.
Phil also has been instrumental in facilitating large-scale corporate change programs, including designing and delivering training and facilitation packages which impacted several thousand employees.
