John Bland, Director, Global Integration
About John Bland, Director, Global Integration
John’s business career included roles in R&D, Product Development and Brand Support for the European, Japanese, North African, and Middle Eastern regions. In addition whilst fulfilling these roles he experienced working in a Global Matrix structure. He has lived in both Japan and Belgium as well as in the UK, where he also spent some time running a business specialising in improving European – Asian business relations.
John has a degree in Chemistry and a Doctorate in Biochemistry from Oxford University. He was a member of Oxford University’s winning boat race crew on three occasions, won a world championship silver medal, and participated in the 1984 Olympic Games.
